Spain

Spain is a country located in southwestern Europe, occupying most of the Iberian Peninsula, along with two archipelagos, the Canary Islands off the northwest coast of Africa and the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean Sea. It also includes two small cities on the North African mainland, Ceuta and Melilla. Bordered to the north and northeast by France and Andorra, Spain is known for its diverse geography, rich history, and cultural heritage, characterized by a variety of languages, traditions, and cuisines.

The capital of Spain is Madrid, which is also the largest city. Spain is a parliamentary constitutional monarchy, with a king as the head of state and a prime minister as the head of government.
